2010-2011 Season Dates

Here are the dates for the upcoming season. I expect good things as mallard numbers are still very high. Rates will stay the same for hunt packages. $350.00 for hunt, lodging, meals. $175.00 for morning hunt only. I will be hunting the flooded timber of the White River Refuge as well again this season. The Jacks Bay Hunt Zone will have artificially flooded timber even if the dry weather conditions continue. There will be two splits so check the dates below. Duck season dates are Nov. 19-27, Dec. 8-23 and Dec. 26-Jan. 29. The youth hunt is set for Feb. 4-5.
Duck bag limits will be no more than 6 ducks consisting of:
- 4 mallards (no more than two of which may be hens)
- 3 wood ducks
- 2 redheads
- 2 scaup
- 1 black duck
- 2 pintail
- 1 canvasback
- 1 mottled duck
** Duck and teal species not listed have no extra restriction beyond the six-duck total bag limit
